APRESENTAÇÃO

This book aims to get the reader thinking about what organisations will look like in reality. What can you expect from working in different organisations and companies? My first experiences of working in both SMEs (small and medium enterprises) and multinational companies were remarkable – both on a personal and professional level. I am sure that my later experience with teaching benefits a lot from these first working experiences, which were, after all, very rich. The aim of this publication is to provide reading that will better prepare people to achieve a high level of personal satisfaction and fulfilment from their work in an organisational environment.

Another aim of this book is to provide solutions, not only to point out mistakes that may happen in organisations. In this way, the book is both theoretical and practical, and hence appropriate for the reader even if they are outside academia.
